6. Enrique Borja's testimony.

“We are really happy due to the fact that the concept that Mexicana de Aviacion designed for this tournament has been fulfilled. I mean, there are already more than 10 young men that are receiving the oportunity of becoming prefessional soccer players and one university that granted a scholarship to the winning team of San Antonio. Even though this is the first tournament, we can be satisfied with the effort to give something back to the Hispanic community in the United States, that Mexicana is showing.

7. Winning coaches' testimony.

“It´s been really important for us to participate in the Mexicana Tournament, for it allowed us to prove that we are qualified to compete in such tournaments, and above all to demonstrate that my players have a good level. Having travelled to Mexico and to have been able to play with Pachuca's reserves has been an excellent experience. And having obtained the championship, defeating two of the three best teams in USA (Dallas and Los Ángeles San Bernardino), confirmed the fact that our accademy is working properly and offered the possiblity to our players to talk to Club America's and Santo's scouts. Playing at the El Huracan Stadium was a very special thing, due to the fact that my family is originally from Hidalgo. The Tournament was fantastic and with an excellent organization. There is no way we are going to miss next year's tournament for we are very happy. I want to thank this oportunity to thank the support that everyone that made this Tournament possible showed, from the Mexicana people and Prosport, to the refferies, drivers and hotel employees. Thanks and we will see you again next year.

-Miami's men team coach, champions.

“As the representative for my team, I want to thank the possibility that the Mexicana de Aviacion Tournament provided us, to travel to our country and compete with the best women's teams in USA. The level played was very high and the struggle with regional teams allowed us to elevate our soccer level, which kept growing during the Tournament until the final, where luckily we could defeat a great team such as Portland. The girls really enjoyed the possibility that Mexicana gave us to visit such an amazing country (I even have players who had never flown before). We loved Guadalajara and San Luis was very nice. This experience was without a doubt a new Tournament for all of us. The experience that this Tournament and this championship left us is ideal. Next year we will do our best to be back and defend the Mexicana de Aviacion Tournament title. Thanks!”.

-Denver's women team coach, champions.

8. Other coaches' testimonies.

"The Mexicana Tournament, among other things, allowed my players to elevate their competing level by meassuring themselves against the other winning teams, and before the basic forces of first division teams, such as San Luis. Besides, it was a very possitive experience, for most of them, thanks to soccer, could come to the country were their parents are from. It has reached all our expectations from the soccer's point of view: uniforms, refferies, fields, etc., as well as the logistic aspect: travel, hotel, meals, etc. As representatives of Chicago's champion team, we can say that it will be a pleasure to come back next year to the Mexicana de Aviacion Tournament. Thanks for everything”.

-Chicago's men team coach, champions.

We are very greatful to the Tournament, to Mexicana and to Prosport. The fact of coming to Mexico to play soccer is an incentive to the players, for the get to traves to a different country with their friends, play soccer and proudly represent their city of origin. We go back with the memory of a fantastic event, in which we could, withour a doubt, reinforce the bond that has always existed among the hispanic communities that love and practice soccer”.

-Dallas' men team coach, champions
